What happened?

According to the admission seekers and their guardians, the question paper of first “Gha” unit admission test - held on October 12 - was leaked 43 minutes before to the test. Law enforcers have found evidence that a hand-written question paper was circulated from two admission information centers in Bogra to an applicant’s parent.

The following day authorities formed a three-member committee to investigate the alleged leak and it submitted the report on Monday afternoon.

The university authorities shortly after October 13 midnight filed a case under Digital Security Act and Public Examination Act, against six named and many unnamed accomplices alleging that they were involved with the “Digital Forgery.”

The case was filed with the Shahbagh police station. Total six named accused, all from Bogra, were arrested at the Doyel Chattar of the DU campus.

Allegations of question paper leak in the “Gha” Unit admission test also surfaced last year after e-mails containing questions of the English part of the exam were sent to some admission seekers around seven hours before the exam.
