DU female student 'commits suicide'
A female student of Dhaka University (DU) reportedly committed suicide in their house in Khilgaon of capital Dhaka on Sunday night.
Deceased Afia Sarika, 23, was a second year student of Marketing Department at the university, said Sarika's elder sister Sumiya, reports a Bangla news portal.
Sumiya said they found Sarika hanged from the ceiling fan tied scarf with neck and took her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctors declared dead.
DMCH Police Outpost sub-inspector Md Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter.
