3 suspected dacoits killed in gunfight
Three suspected dacoits were killed in a gunfight with Rapid Action battalion (RAB) members in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram early Tuesday.
The deceased were the members of a inter district robber gang, the RAB said.
RAB-7 deputy commander squadron leader Shafayat Jamil Fahim said the gunfight took place between a patrol team of the elite force and a dacoit gang in Chhotokumira area at early hours.
Later, the team found three bullet-hit bodies on the scene and also recovered a foreign pistol, 12 bullets and two machetes.
