3 robbers killed in Sundarbans ‘gunfight’
At least three suspected robbers had been killed in a gunfight between their cohorts and Quick Actions Battalion (RAB) in Satkhira Assortment area of Sundarbans early Sunday.
One of the deceased was recognized as Faruk Hossain, 35, boy of Motiar Rahman, of Kalinchi village in Shyamnagar upazila.
Satkhira Shyamnagar Law enforcement Station Officer-in-Fee (OC) Nazmul Huda confirmed the problem.
Four firearms, a boat, countless rounds of bullet and big materials employed by robbers were recovered from the location, according to law eforcers.
