2 dengue patients reported in a day
Two new dengue patients were hospitalised within the last a day till 8am on Wednesday, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to daily update from DGHS, two dengue patients are being treated at hospital in the administrative centre.
Since the beginning of the year, 246 dengue cases were reported. Of them, 244 have been discharged from hospitals.
Bangladesh experienced a massive dengue outbreak this past year.
The federal government confirmed that dengue had claimed the lives of 164 persons this past year. The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) confirmed the quantity after reviewing 263 out of 266 reports of dengue-related deaths.
Last year, 101,354 persons were hospitalised with dengue in the united states. Of these, 101,037 made full recovery.
