Dengue claims Swechchhasebak League leader’s life
A Swechchhasebak League leader died of mosquito-borne disease dengue in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj on Sunday night.
Deceased AL Mamun Alam, 42, was a resident of Shuktail union under the upazila. He was the president of Shuktail union unit Swechchhasebak League.
Gopalganj unit president Mohsinuddin said Alam had been suffering from dengue fever for a week.
He was admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital on Sunday evening where he died around 11:00pm.
