248 dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hrs
A total of 248 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours till Thursday morning.
Of them, 72 were hospitalised in Dhaka, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a regular update.
Currently, 1,101 patients, including 439 in Dhaka, are being treated at hospitals for dengue.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research reviewed 158 suspected deaths and confirmed 98 of them as dengue death.
