Dengue patient dies at SBMCH
A dengue patient died at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH) in Barishal on Tuesday (September 24).

The victim woman-- Sayed Baru, aged 60, wife of Najer Ali—was a resident of Patuakhali sadar.

The woman was admitted to dengue ward in a critical state on Monday (September 23). She was given utmost treatment here, but died at 1:20 pm on Tuesday, SBMCH director Dr. Md. Bakir Hossen told Banglanews.

So far, 10 dengue patients have died at this hospital. 2428 dengue patients have got admitted to the hospital since July 16. Of them, 2361 have returned home after receiving treatment, he also said.
