Law student dies of dengue
A law student has died of dengue ,in Savar, on the outskirts of Dhaka.

Manzur Morshed Abir, 25, son of Abdullah Al Mamun of Bongaon in Savar, breathed his last at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital on Wednesday night.

With this, the death toll from the viral fever in Savar rose to seven, including a student of Jahangirnagar University. 

Abdullah Al Mamun said Abir was studying law after completion of honours from a private university and was taking preparation to go to London for higher studies in law.

He was infected with dengue fever two weeks ago and was admitted to Ibn Sina Hospital at city's Kalyanpur.

Following deterioration of his condition, Abir was first referred to Dhanmondi General and Kidney Hospital Ltd, and on September 9, he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Shaheeh Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital where he died on Wednesday.
