Titumir College student dies of dengue
A student of Government Titumir College in Dhaka died of mosquito-borne dengue on Wednesday evening.
Mehedi Hasan Kamal, a student of English department at the college, died around 7:30pm at a hospital at Mirpur.
Hailed from Chandpur, Mehedi was a resident in city's Mugda area.
An on-duty doctor of the hospital said Mehedi was admitted to the hospital with the viral fever on August 19. Mehedi's blood platelet count fell down far below and he died while undergoing treatment, the doctor added.
