Woman dies of dengue in Barishal
A woman died of mosquito-borne disease dengue at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barishal on Wednesday morning.
Deceased Moniza, 45, was the wife of Md Kamal, hailed from Nesarabad upazila of Pirojpur district.
The hospital director Dr Bakir Hossain said she was admitted to the hospital with dengue fever on Saturday afternoon.
She died around 9:00am today while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
With this, a total of 14 people have, so far, died of dengue virus in the district.
