Woman killed in truck cylinder explosion in city
A female, aged about 35, was killed as the gas cylinder of a truck exploded in Hazaribagh area of metropolis early Tuesday.
The identity of the deceased cannot be known yet.
Hazaribagh Police Station ASI Sajal said a truck, carrying some female RMG workers, visited a CNG filling station at Beribadh area to take gas. All of the passengers got down from the automobile except the woman.
An explosion occurred while filling gas in to the vehicle's cylinder, leaving the woman severely injured.
She was taken up to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where in fact the on-duty doctor declared her dead, the DMCH police outpost in-charge Md Bachchu Mia confirmed.
