The country's most significant private carrier US-Bangla Airlines has entered its 7th year of businesses on July 17. The airline, launched with the slogan "Fly Fast-Fly Safe", started its journey in 2014 and since then it has achieved many milestones one after another.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mamun, Managing Director, US-Bangla Airlines, said, "In a competitive world, we will be ready to take on almost any competition challenge. In today's time, there is no replacement for inducting completely new aircraft to provide proper services to passengers. US-Bangla Airlines is continually adding new aircraft to its fleet to ensure comfortable service to its passengers. US-Bangla may be the only local airline operating domestic flights with brand new aircraft. In sha Allah, I am planning to add more completely new aircraft to the international route soon. The US-Bangla family is very happy and proud to be linked to the country's economical progress."

US-Bangla Airlines commenced its operations in Bangladesh with a Dhaka-Jashore flight operated by two Dash8-Q400 aircraft.

From its inception, the airline has been maintaining on-time flight departure and international standard in-flight service using its own catering.

Within a year of the launch, US-Bangla flights started operating at all airports of Bangladesh.

In its domestic network, the carrier operates flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Barishal and Rajshahi.

US-Bangla Airlines started out flying to international destinations with the launch of its Dhaka-Kathmandu flight on May 15, 2016.

Before COVID-19, it had operated regular flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou.

In addition, it operates flights from Chattogram to Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat and Doha.

Soon, US-Bangla plans to use flights to Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Dubai, Hong Kong and Delhi.

Currently, the carrier stands as the greatest private carrier in the country with a total of 13 aircraft in its fleet, including four 164-seat Boeing 737-800s, six 72-seat completely new ATR 72-600s and three 76-seat Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

US-Bangla Airlines has been maintaining a performance record of 98.7 % on-time flight operations. And because of this, the airline has received several accolades through the years, exclusively for flights on domestic routes.

The carrier currently has about 1400 employees in the home and abroad.

It has more than 30 sales offices across the country. It also has sales offices in Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Toronto and NY.

The airline also offers a Skystar package for frequent flyers. By which passengers enjoy discounts on air tickets by purchasing several types of products from different lifestyle brands.

Because the independence, US-Bangla Airlines has been the only local airline operating direct flights to Guangzhou in China and Chennai in India.

US-Bangla also offers a number of special services to passengers such as for example luggage delivery within quarter-hour after landing for international flights, 20 % discount for older persons, 10 per cent discount for military officers and golfers, among others.

Besides passengers, the airline also transports cargo to various domestic and international destinations.

Since its inception, US-Bangla Airlines in addition has been directly mixed up in development of various sports, in collaboration with several educational, social and cultural institutions in the country.
