US-Bangla donates PPE to hospitals to greatly help treat coronavirus patients
Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines has announced today to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) to all the medical university hospitals of Bangladesh to help protect the doctors, nurses and others concerned who are treating patients infected with coronavirus.

US-Bangla will fly in PPE, made based on the guideline of World Health Organisation, from China with their own aircraft. Directors of any public or private medical college or university hospital can all the airline on the hotline number 01929417306 and place order for his or her required amount of PPE, to be delivered to them by the airline as quickly as possible.

Upon this note, Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director, US-Bangla Airlines, said, "The novel coronavirus pandemic has sent shockwaves through the complete world. It really is highly essential now to supply medical services to patients infected with the virus while ensuring proper protection of doctors and nurses. Hence, we've made a decision to stand beside those mixed up in field of medical services by donating PPE to them."

Also, from January till now, the airline has been attracting masks, hand gloves, sanitiser, infrared thermometer and various medical equipment with their flights from China to Dhaka instead of general cargo, free for individuals and institutions who are importing them for protection against coronavirus.

It might be mentioned here that US-Bangla is one of the two and the only Bangladeshi carrier operating passenger flights to China's Guangzhou currently, the other being Chinese airline China Southern.
