US-Bangla receives gold award for Best On-time Performance
Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines won the gold trophy in “Best On-time Performance” for continuous on-time flight operation in 2019 at the gala award ceremony of Monitor Airline of the Year 2019 on January 31 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka.

The airline also received Silver trophies in “Best Onboard Services”, “Best Customer Friendly Airline” and “Best Domestic Airline” categories and Bronze in “Best Improved Services” category.

US-Bangla Airlines won the highest number of trophies in different categories among the domestic airlines at the gala award ceremony organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, premier travel trade publication of the country.

Md Kamrul Islam, General Manager–Public Relations of US-Bangla Airlines received the award on behalf of the airline from Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor. Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Dehaimi, Ambassador of Qatar to Bangladesh, Prof Shibli Rebayatul Islam, Chariman of the Jury, Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Senior Journalist and Kashef Rahman, CEO, ShareTrip were also present on the occasion among other aviation industry elites.

Currently, in domestic routes, the airline operates daily flights to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Jashore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Barishal from Dhaka.

In international routes, the airline flies to Kolkata, Chennai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Muscat and Doha.

The airline started its operations on July 17, 2014 with two 76-seater Dash8-Q400 aircraft and with the maiden flight to Jashore. Within less than two years, it went international with the introduction of flights to Kathmandu.

The airline’s fleet today consists of thirteen aircraft, highest among private airlines, including four Boeing 737-800s, six brand new ATR72-600s and three Dash8-Q400s.
