US-Bangla receives fourth ATR 72-600
Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines received its fourth ATR 72-600 yesterday. The number of aircraft in its fleet is now 11, highest among private airlines.
The latest ATR 72-600 landed at Dhaka airport yesterday in the afternoon. Capt Ahmed Shikdar, Chief Advisor of US-Bangla Airlines officially received the aircraft. High officials of US-Bangla and Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh were also present on the occasion.
The induction of the new 72 seat ATR 72-600 is part of the carrier's plan to increase flight frequency on domestic and regional routes.
Besides the latest addition, US-Bangla currently has four Boeing 737-800, three Dash8-Q400 and four ATR 72-600 in its fleet.
