One held with 136 gold bars at Ctg airport
Customs officials detained a man alongwith 136 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Sunday morning.
Detainee Mohammad Jahed, arrived at the airport by a US-Bangla Airlines flight from Muscat at about 6:30am.
He is the son of late Jamal Ahmed of Madarsha village inHathazari upazila.
Acting on information, a team of customs officials challenged the man and recovered the gold from his possession.
The gold bar, weighing 15.863 kg, worth Tk 6.80 cr.
