US plane scatters engine particles over Denver homes
A good Boeing jet has scattered particles over a residential area near Denver after among its engines failed on take-off.

The Boeing 777, with 231 passengers and 10 crew on board, could return safely and terrain at Denver airport. No injuries were reported.

Police in the city of Broomfield posted photos of what is apparently the front of an engine casing in leading garden of a home.

Passengers onboard described a good "large explosion" soon after take-off.

Flight 328, a good United Airlines plane bound for Honolulu, suffered failing in its right-side engine, the Federal government Aviation Administration (FAA) stated.

One passenger who was on the air travel told AP news organization that the pilot was presenting an announcement when there is a loud explosion.

"The plane started shaking violently, and we shed altitude and we started heading down," David Delucia said.

He added that he and his wife located their wallets within their pockets to ensure that "in the event we did go down, we could be ID'd".

Photos posted online showed smoke trailing from the engine. One video seemingly shot from within the plane shows an engine burning and stripped of its casing.

The incident happened soon after 13:00 native time (20:00 GMT) on Saturday.

Broomfield police urged citizens not to touch or maneuver the particles. The FAA and the National Transport Safety Board will be carrying out an investigation.

One Broomfield resident told CNN he previously seen the debris fall from the plane and took shelter with his children since it started coming down.

"We saw it review, we heard the big explosion, we seemed up, there was dark smoke in the sky," Kieran Cain said. "Debris started raining down, that you know, kind of looked like it had been floating down rather than very heavy, but actually nowadays seeking at it, it's giant metal parts all over the place."
