At least 3 lifeless, 10 injured in North Caroline tornado
A good tornado ripped through North Carolina's Brunswick County, killing at least three persons and injuring 10 other folks found in its trail of destruction, authorities said. The tornado hit soon after midnight Tuesday in southeastern Brunswick County near Grissettown in the Ocean Ridge Plantation Community, destroying homes, downing powerlines that kept thousands without electricity and snapping trees in half, news outlets reported."It's something like I have by no means seen before. A whole lot of destruction. It will likely be a long recovery process," Brunswick County Sheriff John Ingram explained at a press conference early Tuesday.

Brunswick County Emergency Operations said persons were trapped found in homes. Ingram said looks for missing persons were underway and can increase throughout the day. He's asked people in order to avoid the area while crews function to clear the streets and search for victims. The Wilmington Fire Section tweeted that it could send teams to greatly help find persons missing following the tornado.
