UP chairman shot dead in Satkhira
Unidentified assailants shot Satkhira’s Krishnanagar union parishad chairman also Kaliganj upazila unit Jatiya Party secretary general KM Mosharraf Hossain to death Saturday (September 8) night.
He was son of late Soluddin Gazi from Krishnanagar.
Witnesses said Mosharraf was chit-chatting at the office of Krishnanagar union unit Jubo League, around 10:45pm.
Attackers came by a motorcycle and fled the scene after shooting him several consecutive times.
Mosharraf succumbed to his injuries while was being taken to Kaliganj hospital.
Kaliganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hasan Hafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to midea.
