3 killed in shootouts in 3 dists
A suspected drug dealer and two suspected leaders of a robber gang and a theft syndicate were killed in separate shootouts in Barguna, Comilla and Satkhira early Saturday (July 28). 

Banglanews correspondents reported the incidents from the respective areas.

In Barguna, suspected robber gang leader Kajal was killed in a reported shootout with the members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a charland of Baleshwar River adjacent to Patharghata of Barguna.

The deceased was identified as the chief of Kajal Bahini.

Huge arms and ammunition were recovered from the spot. 

Quoting the RAB-8 Barisal office, Patharghata Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Molla Md Khabir Uddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

In Comilla, suspected drug dealer Shahidul Islam Safu was killed in a shootout with the members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Bangladesh Border Guards (BGB), in the Beribandh area of Gomoti River in Kaptan Bazar area of the sadar upazila. 

RAB-11 CPC-2 (Comilla) Commander Maj Ataur Rahman confirmed the matter.

The deceased was accused in 27 cases filed under Narcotics Control Act, added the RAB official.

In Satkhira, the ringleader of a inter-district bike theft syndicate was killed in a shootout with police in Nurnagar area of Shyamnagar. 

The deceased was identified as Rezaul.

Shyamnagar Police Station OC Elias Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

A one-shooter gun and one round of bullet were recovered from the spot, added the OC.
