Undressing woman in Noakhali: Case filed; Main accused among 2 held
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at early hours of Monday arrested two people, including the prime accused, in a case filed for undressing and torturing woman in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali district.

Badal, the prime accused, was arrested from Dhaka while another accused Delwar, chief of Delwar Bahini, was arrested from Narayanganj.  

With the two, four people have, up to now, nabbed in this connection.

Begumganj Police Station OC Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid confirmed the news headlines on Monday morning.

The 35-year-old victim woman herself filed two separate cases--one under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act and another under Pornography Control Act-- at 11:45pm on Sunday.

Based on the case statement, the victim was residing in her father's house Khalpar area in the upazila for years as she had feud with her husband.

On September 2, the victim’s husband found visit his father-in-law’s house. A group of miscreants entered in to the victim’s house at 9pm and tied her husband before torturing the girl.

Later, they undressed the housewife and tortured her brutally blaming her of engaged in unethical works. The culprits also made the video of the torture and it had been posted on social media. 

The video went viral and drew mass criticism on Sunday.
 
Police, however, detained Abdur Rahim, 20, on Sunday afternoon and Rahmat Ullah, 41, at 10pm regarding the the incident.
