RAB detains three APBn members over Major Sinha murder
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested three members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) over Major (retd) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan murder case.

With them, total 10 persons have, so far, been arrested regarding the the killing.  

The three APBn members are: assistant sub-inspector Shahjahan, constables Rajib and Abdullah. The trio were on duty at the chaeckpost of APBn on that day when the murder incident occurred.

Another seven accused in the much-talked murder case are ASI Liton Miah, constables Safanur Karim, Kamal Hossain and Abdullah Al Mamun, three witnesses Md Aias, Nurul Amin and Nazim Uddin.

On July 31 night, Major (retd) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan was killed in police firing at a checkpost at Shamlapur area under Baharchhara union along the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf Marine Drive.
 
Later, his sister filed a case where she made Baharchhara Investigation Centre's Inspector Liakat Ali as prime accused and Teknaf Police Station OC as the accused number two. Besides, seven more policemen were made accused in the event.
