Two shot during TCB’s onion sale in Sylhet
Two persons, including a woman, were reportedly shot by the law enforcers when they were purchasing onions at Tk 45 a kg from a truck of the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) at Rikabi Bazar in Sylhet on Monday (NOV 18).
Some people were also injured as the local people manhandled each other while buying the onions from the TCB truck.
A bullet-hit person was identified as Chandrakanta Singha, while the identity of the woman couldn’t be identified immediately, Banglanews correspondent reports.
