2 killed in Sylhet truck-auto rickshaw collision
A driver and a passenger were killed while three others injured after a collision between a truck and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Companiganj Upazila of Sylhet on Sunday (September 15).
The accident happened at Khagail area on Bholaganj road.
Two victims were—passenger Khairul Islam, 25, son of Moinuddin of Barni village of the Upazila and driver of the auto rickshaw Shah Alam, 22, hailing from the same village.
According to locals, Companiganj thana police recovered dead bodies and sent them to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College.
The three injured were admitted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, Additional Superintend of Police (ASP) of Sylhet district told Banglanews.
