Four Sylhet youths lose lives in Mediterranean Sea
Four young men from Fenchuganj of Sylhet district lost their lives and two others of the district went missing in the boat capsize in Tunisian coast of the Mediterranean Sea on the way to Italy from Libya with risk.
The deceased were Abdul Aziz, 25, son of Harun Mia, Ahmad, 24, son of Montu Mia, Liton, 24, son of Siraj Mia, residents of Katalpur village in Fenchuganj upazila while another from Dinpur village lost life in the incident but his name could not be known.
The missing are Ahsan Habib Shami and Kamran Ahmed Maruf.
Earlier, around 60 migrants most of them from Bangladesh have died after their boat capsized in the Mediterranean Sea after it left Libya for Italy, the Tunisian Red Crescent said on Saturday, reports AFP.
