Tragic death of Dhaka Residential student at 'Kishor Alo' function
Naimul Abrar, a student of Dhaka Residential Model school and College, has died of electrocution at a function of the daily Prothom Alo's magazine for juveniles 'Kishor Alo'.
Witnesses said, Abrar, a student of class IX, was electrocuted while the function was going on on Friday afternoon.
He was taken to Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
The victim's fellows alleged that he died as he was no taken to nearby hospitals.
The authorities continued the function keeping the death news secret, they also alleged.
