NSU student killed in city road crash
A student of North South University was killed in a road accident at Hatirzeel in Dhaka city on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Fahim Rafi, 20, a second-year student of Economics department of the university and son of Moniruzzaman of South Bashabo in Sabujbagh.
The accident took place when Fahim was getting down from a bus around 8 pm, witnesses said.
Locals took the victim to Khidma Hospital and informed his family members.
Being informed, Fahim's father took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to injuries around 10 pm, UNB reports.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said Sub-inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
