Shawon, Samia Othoi's play 'Juboker Mon Bhalo Nei'
Two mentionable faces of the small screen of present time Shawon and Samia Othoi. Without any platform Shawon has established himself as an actor in showbiz. On the other hand, after starting acting Samia Othoi became second runner-up in 'Lux-Channel I Superstar 2018' contest.
As a result, she became busier with acting. Earlier Shawon and Samia worked together in a TV play. For the second time, they worked together in a play titled 'Juboker Mon Bhalo Nei', which is based on a true story. Shooting of the play was done in the capital's Uttara area recently.
Tauquir Ahmed wrote story of the play which will be aired on any YouTube channel soon. While talking about acting in the play Shawon said, "For the first time, I worked under Niloy Masud's direction. As its story is based on a true incident so, director Niloy had to work carefully and sincerely while giving direction of the play. It was my second work with Samia Othoi. I believe this work will be appreciated by the viewers like my previous one."
Samia Othoi said, "In the play, Shawon played the central role and I acted the role of his girlfriend. Niloy Masud has tried to make the play nicely. Though it is based on true story so, I request the viewers to watch the Shawon most of the time acts in single episode plays but he has no interest to work in drama serials. He has recently finished work of Shihab Shahin's web series.
On the other hand, Samia recently started shooting of a new drama serial directed by Mostafa Kamal Raz. After becoming Lux star her first acted play was 'Tumi Kon Kanoner Phul'. Ferdous Hasan's serial Maya was her first acted serial. She finished Honors in English Literature from AIUB. Now she wants to concentrate in acting, Samia also said.
