Shamim, Farin pair up for Rumel's play 'Joban'
Popular actor and director Ishtiaque Ahmed Rumel has returned to direction, after a break. He has made a play titled 'Joban' for YouTube channel. He has also written story of the play. Two popular faces of the small screen - Shamim Hasan Sarkar and Tasnia Farin paired up for the play. After completing its shooting the play was released on YouTube channel of AJS Creative Media.
While talking about acting in the play Tasnia Farin told this correspondent, "Earlier, I worked with Shamim Bhai under different directors' direction for several times. In Joban, my role was challenging. For the first time, I worked under Rumel Bhai's direction. Overall, it has become a nice work. Its story is exceptional so I am optimistic about the play."
Shamim said, "Joban is one of my favorite plays in acting career. My role was challenging. As my co-actress, Farin did really well. We had a better understanding during shooting."
Sohel Khan, AK Nadim and Ishtiaque Ahmed Rumel also acted in different roles in the play. However, yesterday Shamim took part in shooting of a play against Samia Othoi in the capital's Farmgate area. Though Shamim was a successful YouTuber for last few years he is now popular actor in the small screen.
On the other hand, Tasnia Farin is now busy with her honours final examinations at Bangladesh University of Professionsl (BUP). So, she cannot give time to acting. She came into limelight to perform as model in a TVC of Vaseline under Mostafa Sarwar Farooki's direction.
