'Padma Puran' reveals exceptional Prosun
Young actress Prosun Azad has grabbed the attention of the viewers with her unique appearance in a song of an upcoming feature film titled 'Padma Puran' directed by Rashid Polash. The film has been made based on the life of the people living on the bank of river Padma.
'Padma Puran' has revealed the exceptional avatar of Prosun through its first song titled 'Pakhi', which was released on the YouTube channel of Live Tech on Monday evening. The lyric of the song is written by Tania Noor, while singer Iman Chakraborty from Kolkata and Nirjhor Chowdhury from Bangladesh have lent their vocals to the song.
In the film, Prosun has played the role of an alcohol smuggler. Meeting the demand of her character in the film, Prosun has made her appearance as a chubby woman.
The character required someone who looks like Prosun exactly now into her character. As most of the standards of the character matched with Prosun, she was offered the role, according to the director Rashid Polash.
Prosun informed that she received the offer at a time when she gained weight and became fat. As a result, she agreed to play the character.
Produced by Punnah Films, the film 'Padma Puran' casts newcomer Sadia Afreen Mahi in the central character, while Shampa Reza, Champa, Elora Gahar, Shimul Khan, Don, Kayes Chowdhury and Maria are in different roles.
Presently in the editing panel after completing the shooting recently, the film is likely to be released soon.
