PM seeks more France support in security sector
Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought more support from France found in defense sector.
The premier expressed her country’s keen interest to impart training to the students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University.
In reply, the primary minister expressed satisfaction over the prevailing cooperation between Bangladesh and France on military sector and stressed the necessity for boosting cooperation on the field.
Sheikh Hasina had a gathering with French Minister of Armed Forces Florence Parly at Primary Minister’s Office in the administrative centre on Monday (March 9).
Sheikh Hasina said: “We’ll be happy to see even more cooperation with France found in this sector.”
Sheikh Hasina said her authorities has given highest priority to working out in defense sector.
PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim quoted her as telling while briefing reporters following the meeting.
Sheikh Hasina recalled with profound gratitude the support of French federal government, its people and leading intellectuals including renowned novelist Andre Malraux during the Liberation War of Bangladesh.
PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, Principal Personnel Officer of MILITARY Division Lieutenant Standard Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Defence Secretary Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury and French Ambassador to Bangladesh Jean-Marin SCHUH, among others, were present at the meeting.
