PM to inaugurate mock-up of metro rail
A mock-up coach of metro rail was kept in the under-construction exhibition and information center at Diabari in Uttara of the administrative centre on Monday (February 17).
The replica was brought from Japan. Main coaches of metro rail will get to Bangladesh on June 15.
“The premier will inaugurate the exhibition and information center towards the finish of March. Apart from the mock-up, you will see a live toy train so that common people including students of school and colleges could easily get a glimpse of metro rail. Therefore, Dhaka city dwellers can make utilization of it easily when procedure begins. No tickets are necessary for exhibition center,” Md. Abu Naser, Senior Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges told Banglanews.
According to DMTCL source, all of the history of metro rail will be presented at Diabari exhibition center. Replica is intended to give people notion of about metro rail. All the necessary information including regulations of metro rail will get.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate metro rail project on 16 December of 2021. Afterwards, it'll be open for public service.
