Photo ID mandatory for air travel
All passengers travelling by air on the domestic route must produce their valid photo identity card at the check-in counter along with the ticket. Otherwise, they won’t be allowed to board.
According to the circular from the Civil Aviation Authority published on June 30, 2017, providing photo identification is a must.
The identity cards that will be treated as a valid photo identity card are passport, national ID card, driving license, school/college/university ID (students) and birth certificate (child and infant) and any ID card with photograph.
