Not any lobbying for transfer or positing found in police: IGP
Inspector General of Law enforcement (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed on Saturday reiterated his voice against a variety of illegal transfer and publishing in the forces, telling that the transfer as well as publishing of officers and police personnel will be achieved in a systemic approach.
"Not any lobbying for transfer or perhaps posting will come to be accepted . . .Everything will be completed in a systemic method and the lobby-culture need to remove from the authorities force," he told a good "Monthly Special Criminal offense and regulations and Order Evaluation Getting together with" organized by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) at Rajarbagh Law enforcement Lines Auditorium found in Dhaka.
The IGP said the authorities, in the meantime, arrived from the original trend of transfer system and a fresh dimension has already been infused to this end.
Referring to the procedure and job services in divisional towns, Dr Benazir vowed to make sure medical facilities designed for police employees in the divisional places to attract them operating at divisional-level.
He called upon the authorities officers to be more efficient, alert and prompt to supply desired assistance to the persons at the earliest.
The IGP recalled the outstanding contribution of policemen to the tough time of Corona as 46 policemen died of the lethal virus till date.
The getting together with prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed sympathy and sorrow to the bereaved families.
DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam presided above the meeting. Senior law enforcement officials, officer-in-costs (OCs) of most DMP law enforcement stations were within the meeting.
