Minister Mozammel's wife dies of COVID-19
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque's wife Laila Arjumand Banu died of novel coronavirus at CMH in Dhaka on Monday morning hours. She was 71.
She breathed her last around 7:45am at the Combined Army Hospital (CMH) while undergoing treatment.
Senior information officer Sufi Abdullahil Maruf of the Ministry verified the matter.
The Minister and his wife tested coronavirus positive on June 12 and the very next day, these were admitted to the CMH.
Though Mozammel Haque returned own home after recovery but his wife have been undergoing treatment at the hospital as her condition was critical.
Laila Arjumand's namaj-e-janaza will be held at a discipline adjacent to Gazipur City Company Central Graveyard after Asr prayers.
