Country in better condition for timely steps: Minister
Health and wellbeing Minister Zahid Maleque on Wednesday said Bangladesh happens to be in an improved condition found in curbing the pass on of coronavirus thanks to taking the proper decision at the proper time.
The minister came up with the remarks at a video conference with health officials of upazila and district levels from the conference room of Directorate Standard of Health Solutions in the afternoon, reports UNB.
“The fight of physicians and nurses, implementation of pre-planned steps in medical sector and people’s self-awareness by following a government's directions prevented the problem from going for a serious turn," the minister said.
The united states recorded less conditions after 44 days in comparison to Italy, France and America thanks to right decision at the right time, he said.
“We'll be able to restrict the pandemic, if we are able to sustain today's ratio of infection for the next few days,” Maleque said.
Meanwhile, ten more persons died from coronavirus in Bangladesh within the last a day till Wednesday, acquiring the death toll in the united states to 120.
Besides, 390 more people tested great for coronavirus through the period, raising the amount of such cases in the united states to 3,772.
