State Minister for religious affairs Sheikh Abdullah dies
State Minister for Spiritual Affairs Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah passed on night time yesterday at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) found in the administrative centre at age 74.
“He breathed his previous at 11.45 pm (on Saturday)at CMH,” an individual aide to the state minister told BSS.
Abdullah’s assistant individual secretary (APS) Sheikh Nazmul Haque Shaikat briefly added that he died of old age complications.
Abdulah was Awami League’s spiritual affairs secretary aswell, while he hailed from Gopalganj, the ancestral house district of Father of the country Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed their deep shock in his demise while they prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
