Man held for 'killing wife' in Noakhali
A guy reportedly slaughtered his wife more than family feud in Senbag upazila of Noakhali in Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at a house of Oli Bepari at Shadekpur village of the upazila around 10:00am.

The deceased was determined as Tahmina Akter Mina, 55.

Police arrested the husband Abdur Rab Babul, 60, child of Majibul Haque, a good resident of the region, in this connection.

According to local UP Chairman Anwar Hossain and neighbors, Abdur Rab Babul locked within an altercation along with his wife Tahmina above a family feud each morning. At one stage, Babul slaughtered his wife by a sharp knife inside the bathroom and tried to flee the home. Locals found him with blood-stained knife and educated police.

Abdul Baten Mridha, officer-in-fee (OC) of Senbag Law enforcement Station, confirmed the matter to media.

He said police recovered the body and detained the presumed killer. Legal action has been used this regard.
