Noakhali woman assault: Accused Delwar's 2 aides held
Detective Branch (DB) police, in early Wednesday, arrested two more folks over Noakhali woman assault incident.
Shohag, 21, and Nur Hossain Rassel, 30, aides of accused Delwar, were arrested by the DB during drives at different places of the district.
Confirming the problem Noakhali SP Alamgir Hossain said Shohag and Nur aren't FIR-listed accused. They were nabbed as per the info given by the arrested accused.
Total seven people have already been shown arrested in the event till today, the SP added.
On September 2, miscreants assaulted a female after stripping her in her house at Ekhlaspur under Begumganj upazila in Noakhali district.
In addition they filmed the act in a cellular phone and circulated on the social media that sparked national outcry.
The victim filed two cases--under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act and Pornography Control Act--33 days following the incident accusing nine persons on October 4.
