2 workers die of electrocution in Dhaka
Two construction workers died of electrocution when they were working at a building in city's Rayerbazar area on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Rajon, 25, hailed from Noakhali, and Asif, 26, from Madaripur.
One of their co-workers Alamgir Hossain said they came in contact with live electric wire while working at a two-storey building around 11am.
The duo were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctors declared them dead, the DMCH police camp in-charge inspector Bachhu Miah confirmed.
The bodies have been kept at hospital morgue, he said.
