Khoka in critical condition, says his son
Former mayor of undivided Dhaka City Corporation and BNP vice chairman Sadeque Hossain Khoka is undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York as his health condition is critical.
Khoka’s elder son Engineer Ishraque Hossain sent a video from New York on Friday (November 1).
Whatever spread about his death is just a rumor. Noting of this sort has happened. There is noting to hide about it.
Ishraque Hossain said: “His cancer treatment has been stopped. He is not in a state to receive cancer treatment. His condition now depends on the Almighty.”
“His condition is very critical. He is fighting for life at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan for the last three days,” he added.
Sadeque Hossain Khoka went to the USA on May 14, 2014 and has been receiving treatment there since then.
Khoka’s family cannot bring him back to the country as his last wish is that. He cannot come to the country, because doesn’t have a passport. Relatives are really worried about what happens next.
