Jashore under lockdown from tomorrow
Jashore district will be placed under lockdown from tomorrow to check on the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Beginning with 6:00pm on Monday, the lockdown will continue for indefinite period.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Safiul Arif developed the announcement on Sunday (April 26).
The DC said although your time and effort was to bring the corona outbreak of Jashore district in order, the quantity of corona patients in the district is increasing daily.
“The first corona patient was detected at Monirampur of Jashore on April 12. He previously recovered after taking treatment at home. Presently, 29 persons have infected with coronavirus in the district, including nine in one day. The lockdown has to be declared in the changed situation,” Safiul Arif added.
