Awami League activist killed in Jashore
An Awami League activist was hacked to loss of life by his rivals over previous enmity at Mollapara in Sharsha upazila on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The victim was discovered as Anisur Rahman, 40, son of Moslem Uddin of Keralkhali village in the upazila.
Quoting locals, police stated Anisur was sitting for a tea stall about 6:30 pm.
At one level, one Nasir Uddin swooped on him and stabbed him indiscriminately with an axe, leaving him injured, said Ataur Rahman, officer-in-fee of Sharsha Police Station.
