Girl with COVID-19 symptoms hospitalised, five houses locked down in Jashore
The local administration has locked down five homes in Jashore's Chowgaccha upazila after a teenage girl was admitted to Jashore Medical College Hospital on Sunday night with coronavirus symptoms.
A workforce led by Upazila nirbahi officer Jahidul Islam locked straight down the houses during the night.
According to medical center officials, the girl was taken to a healthcare facility about 8:20pm and was later referred to the isolation ward.
Physician Lutfunnahar, upazila health insurance and family preparation officer, said the sample from the lady has been delivered to Dhaka for test.
No new patient tried confident for COVID-19 in the country within the last two times, keeping the full total number of confirmed circumstances at 48.
Bangladesh has up to now confirmed five deaths. The global loss of life toll from the virus rose to 33,965 on Monday morning -- a mortality price of 18 %.
Bangladesh has shut educational organizations and public transports and urged persons to stay indoors to avoid the virus from spreading.
