3 'cattle lifters' beaten dead in Jashore
Three suspected cattle lifters were beaten to death by a mob in Abhaynagar upazila of Jashore early Monday.
Local people of Prembag started miking while they saw a gang of cattle lifters entered the area around 4:30am, said Abhaynagar Police Station OC Tajul Islam confirmed the news.
They chased the gang and caught three of them. Later, they gave the trio a good thrashing, leaving two dead on the spot.
Another one died at Upazila Health Complex.
OC Tajul Islam said the bodies were sent to Jashore Sadar Hospital morgue.
