Indefinite transport strike in Sirajganj
Transport owners and workers of Sirajganj enforced an indefinite strike in the district starting from Thursday (July 18).
They have raised allegations against the transport owners' association of Dhaka's Mohakhali about violating organizational rules and obstructing Sirajganj buses.
Sirajganj District Bus Minibus and Coach Owners' Association President Jinnah Almazi told Banglanews that they have given three days to the Mohakhali association to solve the conflict but the demands haven't been met.
"We won't take any bus, truck, CNG-driven auto-rickshaw and battery-powered auto-rickshaw on roads during the strike," he added.
