2 women crushed under truck in Sirajganj
Two passengers of a battery-powered auto van were crushed under a truck in Sirajganj on Friday (October 5).
Besides, two injured were taken to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital, as the accident happened at Mulibari Check Post of Bangabandhu Bridge around 4: 15 pm.
The victims were identified as Manowara Khatun, 50, of Konagati village under Soydabad union of Sirajganj Sadar Upazila, and China Khatun, 35.
The killer truck was seized, but the driver and the helper fled the spot, said Syed Shahid Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Bridge West Police Station.
