Govt to increase lockdown for another week
The government has made a decision to extend the ongoing countrywide lockdown for the third week as Covid-19 infection is still on the rise.
A gazette notification could possibly be issued on April 27 in this regard, said State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain.
The federal government announced a one-week lockdown from April 14 and the committee expressed satisfaction over that. Later, on April 18, the lockdown was extended for another week.
