Elderly woman killed in Ctg slum fire
An elderly woman was burnt alive in a fire that broke away at a slum under CEPZ Police Station of Chittagong metropolis.

The fire originated at 4am at the slum near a rail brand, said Fire Service and Civil Defence deputy assistant director Neoton Das.

On information, nine firefighting units rushed to the location and doused the blaze after 3 . 5 hours of frantic work.

The fire fighters, down the road, recovered the charred body Nausha, 80, from the scene. She could not come out as she was paralysed.

The real reason for the fire incident cannot be known yet.
